Tooth whitening is one of the most popular treatments at Clarendon House Dental Centre, Leamington Spa, for men and women of all ages. By removing staining and discolouration from within your teeth. A brighter and more youthful looking smile can help take years off your appearance. It’s a simple, pain-free way to improve your smile.
Unlike some cosmetic treatments, which may require long appointments and several visits, with tooth whitening you can achieve noticeable results quickly and relatively easily. To achieve a whiter, brighter smile we offer whitening at your own pace with our customised ‘at home’ kits.
Our professional whitening is accessible and affordable allowing you to have a brighter, whiter smile and feel better about yourself. From ages 16 upwards, our clinicians can provide you with simple, safe, professional whitening giving you a brighter more confident smile.
Tooth whitening is now strictly regulated and can only legally be prescribed by a dentist. The procedure involves making thin, custom-fit trays that are filled with a whitening gel and worn over the upper and lower teeth, usually each night for around 2-4 weeks.
Save money on tooth whitening!
The total cost for both arches is £400, but most of our patients join our membership plan and benefit from half price tooth whitening and top-up gels.
Patients and non-patients welcome
You don’t have to be a patient at Clarendon House Dental Centre to brighten your smile as non-patients of the practice are welcome to book an appointment for tooth whitening.
What sort of results can I expect from tooth whitening?
Your teeth can be lightened by one dental shade per week, usually with a maximum of 8 dental shades improvement, and they can remain brighter for up to two years. The effects are long-lasting but most patients like to have annual ‘top-up’ treatments for the best results.
This usually takes less than 7 nights.
Will tooth whitening hurt?
Tooth whitening is a safe, painless procedure. The treatment can result in short term sensitivity in some people.
Is whitening guaranteed for a certain length of time?
It is difficult to guarantee tooth whitening because its success depends on the cause of tooth discolouration. Smoking, drinking tea, coffee and red wine and eating certain foods, such as curries, will cause staining to return more quickly.
Will all my teeth be whiter?
Depending on the degree of staining, you may need a thorough hygiene polish before you have whitening treatment to remove any discolouration caused by stains. The tooth whitening procedure will only change the shade of natural tooth structure; it will not have any affect on the colour of crowns, fillings or bridges.
