Our professional whitening is accessible and affordable allowing you to have a brighter, whiter smile and feel better about yourself. From ages 16 upwards, our clinicians can provide you with simple, safe, professional whitening giving you a brighter more confident smile.

Professional care

Tooth whitening is now strictly regulated and can only legally be prescribed by a dentist. The procedure involves making thin, custom-fit trays that are filled with a whitening gel and worn over the upper and lower teeth, usually each night for around 2-4 weeks.

  • What sort of results can I expect from tooth whitening?

Your teeth can be lightened by one dental shade per week, usually with a maximum of 8 dental shades improvement, and they can remain brighter for up to two years. The effects are long-lasting but most patients like to have annual ‘top-up’ treatments for the best results.

This usually takes less than 7 nights.

  • Will tooth whitening hurt?

Tooth whitening is a safe, painless procedure. The treatment can result in short term sensitivity in some people.

  • Is whitening guaranteed for a certain length of time?

It is difficult to guarantee tooth whitening because its success depends on the cause of tooth discolouration. Smoking, drinking tea, coffee and red wine and eating certain foods, such as curries, will cause staining to return more quickly.

  • Will all my teeth be whiter?

Depending on the degree of staining, you may need a thorough hygiene polish before you have whitening treatment to remove any discolouration caused by stains. The tooth whitening procedure will only change the shade of natural tooth structure; it will not have any affect on the colour of crowns, fillings or bridges.
